World of Warcraft Classic server population balance possibly revealed

When picking a server, you always want to look for that perfect 50/50 balance for Alliance and Horde players. Since we all had to pick a server prior to launch, we didn’t get the luxury of choosing a server with the right balance. WoW Classic is underway for some time now, and some players have taken the time to implement a system that could know what the population of each server is like. Below you will find all the results the addon found, but first, how does it work?

The website WoW Classic Realm Population takes information of as many players as they can, to create a number that is as close to reality as possible. They run an addon in the background while you are playing which basicly looks in /who to see who is currently online. After each log out, the player has to upload a file to their website for prosessing.

With that being said. All the information listed below comes from their website. For more information on your realm, be sure to give their website a visit. All information shown isn’t correct to the dot. There will be player information missing, so be sure to take all information with a grain of salt. We do believe though that this is a great indication. All graphs were created by WoWhead.

Race and Class Distribution

WoWHead took a deep dive into the race and class distribution as well. They reported that Warrior is the most played class, followed by Mage and then Hunter. Paladin and Shaman are, non surprisingly, the least played class since they can only be played by one faction.

The most played Alliance races are Human and Night Elf, with Dwarves at the bottom of the table. The most played race for Horde is Undead, with Tauren as the least played race.

You can check out their graphs below.

So, what is your server like? Will you die by the blades of your enemies in Stranglethorn Vale, or will your side crush them with a huge number advantage?
